Travel to Norway
Day 3 Fredrikstad - Oslo - Kristiansand (415 Km.)
Fredrikstad: In the first village we visited in Norway highlights the cathedral and especially his fortress by being the only one in Norway that is preserved as it was. It was built in 1666 and closed in 1903, but continued to serve as a garrison.
(in 89 Km.) Oslo: We made a quick visit to the capital of Norway, focusing only on the Frogner Park and Holmenkollen (because we are late with the planning). Other points of interest we leave for a new visit are: Kon-Tiki Museum, Munch Museum, Norsk Folkemuseum, Rådhuset, Polar Ship Fram, Viking ships.
Frogner Park (Frognerparken) is the largest public park in Oslo. Inside you will find the famous Vigeland Park, which highlights its two hundred sculptures and other works of art of the Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland.

Vigeland Park (Monolitten)
The Vigeland Park, or Park of the sculptures, was built between the years 1907 and 1942. The main attraction of the park is the Monolith ("Monolitten"), which is a single block of granite that stands on a stepped octagonal platform, is 17 meters tall, and is carved with 121 human figures nude and entwined. Another famous sculpture, located at the end of the park, is "Livshjulet" ("Wheel of Life"), in which seven human figures are intertwined in a circle.
